Brookie Ingredients

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  • For the Blondie Layer: Cream the brown sugar and melted butter. Add eggs and vanilla, then stir in flour and baking powder. Spread the blondie batter into the prepared pan.
  • For the Brownie Layer: Melt butter and mix with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, then stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Pour the brownie batter over the blondie layer, spreading evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool before cutting into bars.
