  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Cold Butter cut into small cubes
  • 3/4 cup Whole Milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Gradually pour in the milk, stirring gently until a dough forms. Be careful not to overmix the dough.
  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about ½-inch thick.
  • Using a round cutter, cut out the biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with butter or honey.

Notes

For extra flaky biscuits, you can freeze the butter and grate it directly into the flour mixture.
