Chick-fil-A Lemonade

Ingredients
  

Lemon Juice

  • 8-10 lemons Sunkist lemons freshly squeezed

Sugar

  • 1 cup pure cane sugar heaping

Water

  • 4 cups cold filtered water
  • 2 cups ice optional, for chilling

Instructions
 

  • Squeeze the fresh Sunkist lemons to obtain 1½ cups of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove seeds and excess pulp.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with 1 heaping cup of pure cane sugar. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Add 4 cups of cold filtered water to the mixture and stir well to combine.
  • If you prefer chilled lemonade, add 2 cups of ice to the pitcher or place it in the refrigerator until cold.

Notes

This lemonade stays fresh for 5-7 days when covered and stored in the refrigerator. For a diet-friendly version, substitute the sugar with Splenda and follow the same process.
