Ingredients
  

Gochujang

  • 2 tbsp Gochujang Fermented chili paste for soups, stews, and sauces.

Doenjang

  • 2 tbsp Doenjang Fermented soybean paste used in stews and soups.

Soy Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Light soy sauce for marinades and stir-fries.

Sesame Oil

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil For finishing dishes and adding flavor.

Instructions
 

  • For Miyeok Guk (Seaweed Soup), soak dried seaweed and sauté beef and garlic in sesame oil. Add water and soy sauce, then simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with a drizzle of sesame oil.
  • For Bulgogi, marinate thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and scallions. Grill or stir-fry until caramelized, and serve with rice and kimchi.
  • For Banchan (side dishes), stir-fry kimchi with gochujang and sesame oil, then serve as a side dish or with rice.
  • For Hotteok (Korean honey pancakes), mix flour, yeast, and warm water to form dough. Let it rise, then fill with brown sugar and chopped nuts. Cook until golden brown and serve warm.

Notes

For an authentic Korean meal, use traditional ingredients like gochujang, sesame oil, and doenjang. Prepare rice, soup, and side dishes to create a balanced and communal meal that reflects Korean culture.
