Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Dark Chocolate For the base layer
  • 1 lb White Chocolate For the top layer
  • 1/2 cup Candy Canes Crushed
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract Optional

Instructions
 

  • Start by melting the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between.
  • Once melted, spread the dark chocolate evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let it cool for 15-20 minutes.
  • Next, melt the white chocolate in the same way as the dark chocolate. Stir in peppermint extract if using.
  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer and spread it evenly, covering the dark chocolate.
  • Sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the white chocolate layer. Press gently to ensure they stick.
  • Chill the bark in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Once firm, break it into pieces and enjoy!
