Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 4 breasts or thighs Chicken You can use breasts, thighs, or drumsticks, but thighs are recommended for the best tenderness.

Healthy Fats

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For searing
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper To taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden brown on each side.
  • Transfer the chicken to the crockpot. Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the chicken and liquid in the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks and mix everything together in the crockpot before serving.
