Ingredients
  

Crust

  • cups graham cracker crumbs about 11 full sheets
  • cup sugar mix white and brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter melted

Filling

  • 1 box orange Jello 3 oz box
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup ice water with ice
  • 1 container Cool Whip 8 oz

Flavor Enhancers

  • 2-3 tsp orange zest freshly grated

Optional Garnishes

  • ½ cup mandarin oranges fresh or canned

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the graham cracker crust by mixing crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a pie dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Dissolve the orange Jello in 2/3 cup of boiling water, stirring for about 2 minutes. Add ice water and stir until thickened.
  • Mix the thawed Cool Whip into the thickened Jello mixture until smooth. Stir in the orange zest for added flavor.
  • Pour the filling into the prepared graham cracker crust and smooth the top with an offset spatula.
  • Refrigerate uncovered for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  • Optionally, garnish with mandarin orange segments just before serving.

Notes

This no-bake pie can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For a healthier twist, use sugar-free Jello and Lite Cool Whip, or make your own whipped cream for a richer flavor.
